It is worth taking a moment to stop and watch your children as they explore with different sensors. Ideas and creativity come to light and it can lead them to some interesting ideas. I was playing with one of the children who had found an interest in the cornflour. He was clapping his hands and creating 'smoke' and with further exploration, he discovered that by filling up one of the stainless steel cups, then pushing the other one inside it, it also created "smoke" in a different way. I loved watching him do this because no matter how many times he did it, his facial expressions were as if it was a new discovery each time.
